I, Stephen Hartman, am starting to enter some thoughts to the "chapters" listed below, and I will add to each chapter as I get more clear about what it is I am trying to convey. This philosophy is very simple, and as with all philosophies, words can easily muddle the understanding. I want to be sure to spend a good bit of time and energy writing the content of this section of our website. It is too important to rush.
I can tell you that this section, Whole Self Understanding, is devoted to supporting anyone who is interested, no matter what their circumstance, in questioning whether it really is possible to live from a centered sense of peace and contentment ... on an on-going basis.
Think about it. When are you MOST able to handle difficult situations ... especially when you have to care for a loved one with special needs? For most of us, it's when we are at peace and we have our wits about us. Who ever told you that it was ABSOLUTELY true that you had to have everything in order outside of you in order to feel okay inside?
I will explore these questions by focusing on the following topics:
Your Hard-Wired Well-Being
How Thought Works
Your Emotional Compass
Seeing Through
Going Further
